hi ppl! wow i love the new blogskin sia THANKS A MILLION SALLY! okay there some few announcements:
1. the next band practice wil be on this coming wednesday(28/05)
2. attire will be band tee for the sec 3s and 2s, and uniform for
the sec 1s
3. please bring along $3 for the band fund
4. those who are yet to pass up your consent forms please pass it up to Atiq or to your SLs
5. there will be a committee meeting for the sec3s in school canteen on this coming tuesday at 10am please remember to turn up and help me spread to the rest of the sec 3s who don't know about this
6. those who borrowed the pirates of carribean scores or any other original scores, please have it photocopied and pass it to Hyun Jung by the next band practice
7. to all sec 3s, please pass up your band tee desig to Atiq by this coming tuesday
i guess these are all the announcements bah. if you are unsure of anything or if i missed out any announcements please leave a tag thx
During the last band practice, Mr Hoe taught us on our rhythmic studies. I seriously hope that you guys would used what Mr Hoe had taught us and applied it in your playing. The most important part of the rhythmic studies is your articulation. You should learn to apply accent in some notes and short tongue-ing in others. Then in this way we can deliver our rhythm more clearly. So ya last practice Mr Hoe had given us some homework:
1. rhythmic studies-you guys should have written it down in your notebook so remember to practise at home using ur instrument or clapping, take note of the accents and short tongue-ing
2. pirates of carribean-remember to practise you pirates of carribean from bar 28 to 40++ i think and try to get yourselves familiarise with the notes. If possible try practise beyond what Mr Hoe had asked you to practise

hey people! some new announcements:
- the next practice will be on this coming friday(23/05)
- the attire will be school uniform
- report at 2.30pm and those who are coming late please inform your session leaders (sec3s) or Atiq
- get ready fast and be seated in the PSL by 2.45pm
- pass up your consent forms to your SLs or Atiq this friday
- those who borrowed the original pirates of carribean scores or other original scores please get them photocopied and pass them to Hyun Jung, latest by next wednesday or else there will be punishments
- NJC is having a concert on 7th june 7.30pm @VCH! TICKETS GOING AT $10 EACH! who wants to go please look for me!!

hey ppl! quite sometime never update le...i was feeling bored so i decided to update today on hmm....... anything funny and nice so that u guys can enjoy going to this blog lol. oh ya to the sec 4 seniors: sorry wor i thought once speech day over you guys are considered stepped down le so i jus type exco for the sec 3. but there is this bugger *evil glare* who told me u guys stepped down le so it's alright to type exco for de sec 3 so i guess there was a miscommunication there so sorry you guys =P. anyway many of the band members say dey feeling bored cos band still have not started yet. so cheer up ppl i'm here to lighten up this blog lol. hmm...have you guys ever watch those funny japanese game show?? i telling u man those game show are really funny unlike those in singapore or taiwan. cos their game show is pure torture haha here is one===>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOfZPZJHnKg the game is abt two groups of ppl have to compete against each other to eat the mashmallow as fast as they can but the funny part is that they have to wear this rubber band around their faces that is connected to a board behind them. so as they walk towards the mashmallow their face will be pulled behind and the funny part is that their face will be screwed up so badly that it leaves you laughing so hard. if u guys like it i might update the blog also on entertainment beside on the announcements so wad u guys think of it? pls leave a tag on tis idea if u like me to update de blog on entertainment for u guys too ^,^

ohkies last minutes announcement: NJC concert band is holding a concert at VCH(Victoria Concert Hall) @ 7th June 7.30pm....tickets going at $10 each so whos's going pls inform Rini(our ex-senior)

Yo all the crazy band members out there!!!! THWE NI HERE!! Yes we finally got our own blog!!! This blog, unlike the band website, will allow our fellow band members interact more often with one another and the EXCO. And also this bog will keep you guys updated for events and practices so there is no reason for you guys to tell us that you are not informed of the next practice hor ^.^. Most importantly, we just need want you guys to tag more often in the tagboard and keep the blog alive!! Please don't let the blog die T.T..okay now back to topic.
The exams are just over everyone should be heaving a sigh of relief right?? so am i*sigh* I have guessed that eveyone has given all your best for the exams hopefully. I'm not so sure but i think that band is starting again on WEDNESDAY [21st MAY] so everyone is expected to turn up kay?? no skipping of band is allowed on that day unless of valid reason. band will start at 2.30pm and eveyone is to turn up in their BAND TEE. please inform us if you are coming late or there is something you need to attend via msn or the tagboard. i hope that you guys have been practising with your instruments lately if not *evil glare* . ya so that's all for now, more updates will be coming up once the band starts. please come to this blog for more updates for the next practice's details.
